Textile & Jewelry Tour
Guatemala

This 9-day tour begins in the colonial city La Antigua, a Unesco World Heritage Site. The tour continues to the market town, Chichicastenango. Later, we will spend three days touring the villages surrounding Lake Atitlan in the Western Highlands. Through out the tour, we will visit women's cooperatives, where the historic craft traditions of beading, weaving and ornate embroidery have been revived as new revenue sources for families and communities.
