This 9-day tour begins in the colonial city La Antigua, a Unesco World Heritage Site. The tour continues to the market town, Chichicastenango. Later, we will spend three days touring the villages surrounding Lake Atitlan in the Western Highlands. Through out the tour, we will visit women's cooperatives and enjoy wholesale purchasing opportunities. Many of our experiences will not be on traditional tour paths. We will travel by foot, pick-up, tuk-tuk, boat and bus, learning about Mayan village culture and traditional arts.

Price Includes:
    - All lodging (based on double occupancy;
        single surcharge of $300 if cannot pair you up)
    - Shuttle and Boat Transfers
        (to/fro Guatemala airport and within country)
    - 2 Breakfasts

    - Wine & Cheese Happy Hours most evenings

Activities Include:
Casa de Artes Textile Lecture & Gallery, Zamora Culture Program, Cooking Class, Salsa Dancing Lesson, Cojolya Textile Museum, Santiago Church and Santiago Women’s Co-op jewelry-making demonstration.

Rest of payment in full will need to also arrive no later than

Signed Liability Release will need to accompany your final payment.
Cancellation Policy -  prior to August 2, your $150 Deposit will be contributed to our “Philanthropic Funds,” No refunds after Tuesday August 2, 2010…but you may re-sell your space, consulting our “waiting list,”…with approval from your roommate.

Participants are responsible for arranging their own air transportation.
